The charity for the September luncheon is Denton Community Food Center.

For the August meeting, Donna DeBoever and Chris Anderson introduced new members, first-time attendees, and guests. There were nine individuals introduced. During the meeting, we learned that as of the meeting, we had more than 510 members. Donna reminded members that separate checks are required for annual membership ($20) and the monthly luncheon ($19).

In Shirley Monge’s absence, Dee Sico celebrated the July birthdays. The drawing for the birthday card, lunch certificate, and lottery ticket was won by Lorrie Stockton.

Lorie Stockton is recruiting volunteers for the Oct. 18 Holiday Market. Shifts are typically 1-1/2 hour, and there are opportunities for Oct. 17 (set-up) and Oct. 18. She needs 50 to 60 volunteers. Volunteers will be wearing cute new reindeer headbands to be easily identified. Be sure to share the Oct. 18 date with friends and family.

Back by popular demand, the Holiday Home Tour will be on Dec. 7 from 3 to 7 p.m. The cost is $25. It is open to all Robson Ranch residents. Proceeds will benefit the Denton County Food Center. There will be a Wine Pull, with those proceeds going to Journey to Dream.

Donna reminded members that the Women’s Club has a Facebook page (Robson Ranch Women’s Club) and encouraged members to like and follow us. Also visit the Women’s Club website at www.rrwomensclub.org. Both sites are up to date with the most current information.

Debbie Deverich introduced Paula Wolfe with Pressley Design & Co. Paula is an award-winning interior designer. She presented 2025 design trends in color, patterns, and details. Popular colors are green and mustard yellow. Patterns are trending toward plaid, floral, and damask. Details include fringe on chairs or ottomans, more curves on chairs, and ornate light fixtures. Pressley Design & Co. presents Robson Ranch design seminars at the Sales Office Model Homes. A gift basket, which also included a book that Paula is featured in and a free two-hour consultation, was raffled off. The winner was Kathy Ogburn.
