The Women’s Club will host our next monthly luncheon on Monday, Nov. 3. Doors open at 11 a.m., and lunch is served at 11:20 a.m. In November Dr. Shaun Treat will present “The Wild History of Feisty Denton Women.” Hear about the Denton County trailblazers, trouble-makers, and petticoat pioneers in an entertaining sketch of the ladies who have forever left their mark on the character of Denton, Texas.
The November buffet: Roasted turkey with giblet gravy, mashed potatoes, spinach salad with ranch and raspberry vinaigrette, cranberry sauce, rolls with butter. Dessert: Pumpkin pie and whipped cream
Luncheon checks are due by Monday, Oct. 27, at 8 a.m. Deposit your $19 luncheon check in the Sports Center Women’s Lounge in the white mailbox. You can also pay for your luncheon by PayPal. Check the website at www.rrwomensclub.org.
The charity for the November luncheon is Friends of the Family.
For the September meeting, Donna DeBoever and Chris Anderson introduced new members, first-time attendees, and guests. There were two individuals introduced. During the meeting, we learned that as of the meeting, we had 511 members plus three newly registered. Donna reminded members that separate checks are required for annual membership ($20) and the monthly luncheon ($19).
Nominations are being accepted for the RRWC 2026 board. Anyone interested in a position should let Lisa Olson know. Lisa’s phone number is 817-903-9894.
In Shirley Monge’s absence, Dee Sico celebrated the July birthdays. The drawing for the birthday card, lunch certificate, and lottery ticket was won by Jan Utzman.
Lorie Stockton announced that the entire clubhouse will be used for the Holiday Market, which will be held on Oct. 18. You may shop ‘till you drop. Proceeds will go to Our Daily Bread.
Back by popular demand, the Holiday Home Tour will be on Dec. 7 from 3 to 7 p.m., with a cost of $25. It is open to all Robson Ranch residents. Proceeds will benefit the Denton County Food Center. There will be a wine pull, with those proceeds going to Journey to Dream.

Debbie Deverich introduced Donna Trammell and friends. Donna is the parody queen and has received many awards. Donna was joined by five friends and entertained us with musical parody. There were familiar tunes with funny wording on getting older.
