Robson Ranch Women’s Club Community Outreach Update

KD Rutherford

The Robson Ranch Women’s Club Community Outreach had a busy month providing resources to several Denton County organizations.

Dianna Duncan announced that donations through Share the Blessings to Journey to Dream totaled $505. Funds were earmarked for events during their holiday break from school. The Share the Blessings winner was Dianne Dugan.

Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas will be the recipient of Share the Blessings in January.

Dianna expressed that she and Suzanne have enjoyed working with all the members for the benefit of the charities we support. Gaby Vorst, incoming Community Outreach coordinator, will do a great job next year!

Suzanne thanked members for everything we do for our charities and provided a recap for the year:

• $6,052, including today’s donations, has been collected through Share the Blessings.

• Members volunteered at Our Daily Bread and provided household goods to fill 67 Welcome Home pallets.

• 325 snack pack bags were given to Denton Community Food Center to distribute to children during the summer break.

• We gave 117 back-to-school backpacks to Denton County Friends of the Family.

• We contributed over $1,000 to fill duffle bags for the Survivor Advocacy.

• We purchased gifts for 68 children and 32 families through Adopt-A-Family.

Great job, ladies!
