Robson Red Raider ladies enjoy the wine and history at Edge of the Lake Vineyard.

Robson Ranch Red Raiders were proud to participate in the Robson All Cancer Walk on Oct. 4. Contributions from the Red Raiders and all the Robson participants totaled over $13,000 for the Texas Oncology Foundation of Denton County. Many thanks to our own Red Raider Pat Garrett for being such an instrumental part of this great fundraising event!

On Oct. 10 the Robson Ranch Red Raider ladies traveled to the Edge of the Lake Vineyard for a fun afternoon of wine tasting and laughter. While we were there, Chris McIntosh, winemaker and co-owner of Edge of the Lake Vineyard, told us how the vineyard was started and the process of how their wines are made. It was a wonderful time of getting to know each other better!

Continuing in the “Go, Fight, Win” Spirit of Texas Tech, the Robson Red Raiders enjoyed not one but two watch parties to see our Texas Tech Red Raiders beat the Oklahoma State University and University of Central Florida football teams. Those in attendance enjoyed a halftime “tortilla toss” in honor of the Texas Tech tradition.

Finally, our Robson Red Raiders gathered for an After Glow Party following the Par 3 Glow Ball event. Everyone was decked out in Texas Tech regalia and glowing accessories. Thanks to all our Robson Red Raiders Social Committee and all the host homes for the many events we’ve all enjoyed.

The Robson Red Raiders are looking forward to continued success by the Texas Tech Sports teams and many more functions in 2026!

Anyone is welcome to join our Red Raiders group. Whether you attended Texas Tech, have a child or grandchild who attended Tech, or are just a good ol’ Red Raiders fan, you are welcome. There are no dues and no cost to join.

If you’d like to be included on our Robson Red Raiders distribution list of emails and future happenings, send your name and phone number to Debbie Wegman at debsweg51@gmail.com.

Go Tech!
