Lyn Kosmak, Bob Brown and Carole Johnston find it’s easy to sign up for a Denton library card and you don’t need to leave the ranch! Just bring photo ID. Denton library staff Dee Brown and Parker Stalls registered them for cards right at Robson Library. Robson library volunteer Susan Wells is on the right.
Denton librarian Jess Turner helped Linda Thompson sync multiple devices so Linda can start a book on her iPad indoors and continue on the next page on her Kindle outdoors. The matte surface on her e-reader allows her to read on the beach in Hawaii. Linda says syncing devices provides the best of both devices when she travels.
When Nancy Gaige, a retired school librarian, arrived to register as a Robson library volunteer and Denton Friend of the Library, her husband Wes Gaige, shared the advantages of his new Apple watch with Denton librarian Parker Stalls! We were impressed with the Apple watch and Nancy wanting to volunteer at two libraries!
Carole Johnston just received a beautiful new Nook Samsung tablet, and Denton librarian helped her get started.15
More Robson readers are going digital! E-reader training attendees enjoy reading digital books, paperbacks and hardbacks. Residents use all kinds of devices: iPads, new Samsung Galaxy tablets, Nooks and Kindles and have questions. To answer those questions, the Robson Ranch Library Board requested Denton Library provide e-reader training and Denton library cards. Robson residents are eligible for free Denton Library services.
