Rock and Roll Martini Group rocks the Summer of Love.

The House Band (host) for the Rock and Roll Martini Group in August was Nancy and Jimmy Burns. The theme for the month was Summer of Love. The Summer of Love occurred in 1967, when mostly young people sporting hippie fashions and behavior converged in San Francisco’s neighborhood of Haight-Ashbury.
The Burn’s served brats and dogs with all the condiments. The Rockers provided various appetizers and desserts. The martinis for the evening were Strawberry Alarm Clock and Lemon Tree. The Burns tested everyone’s memory with two Summer of Love trivia quizzes. The Rockers agreed that one was definitely easier than the other and that “All You Need Is Love” anyway!
