The House Band (host) for the June meeting of the Rock & Roll Martini Group was Greg and Connie Metzler. Greg and Connie invited Rock & Roll Martini Group Hall of Fame inductees, The Stewart Brothers, to perform on their patio. The Stewart Brothers cranked up the tunes for all the Rockers (members), guests, and all the homes and golfers around West 5 to enjoy. Deets Stewart, Steve Stewart, Lee Rotholz, and Julie Stewart (road crew and sound engineer) put on the patio concert of the year! (Sorry about the volume!)
Greg and Connie rolled out two martinis for the evening, a Stewart Oklahoma Express and a Brothers Midori. Greg and Connie served up Philly steak and cheese sandwiches, and all the guests filled the countertops with appetizers and desserts. At the end of the concert, Greg rolled out, of course, shots for all the guests who survived the evening. Greg, who hails from Wisconsin, also stocked a mega cooler with ice-cold brewskis.
No martini glasses or screen doors were harmed during the party. Until next month, Rock On!
