The house band (host) of the June meeting of the Rock & Roll Martini Group was Connie and Greg Metzler. The theme they picked for the party was none other than one of the greatest of all time, Elvis. Elvis Presley was known as the “King of Rock and Roll” and is regarded as one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century.
Connie and Greg dished up delicious ham sandwiches. The rest of the Rockers (members) filled in with a smorgasbord of appetizers and desserts. Every Rocker was able to attend this event, including Rock & Roll Martini Group Hall of Fame members Julie and Deats Stewart. Connie and Greg also mixed up two martinis for the evening. An Elvis Green Appletini and a Hunk of Burning Love Orange Crush martini were served. It was a beautiful patio evening, with some cheering on of the golfers who teed off in front of the group.
No screen doors or martini glasses were harmed during the party. Until next month, Rock on!
