The house band (host) for the November Rock & Roll Martini Group was Trish and Henry Moore. It was a Purple Haze evening, with the music for the evening a ‘60s hit parade. Rockers Trish and Henry served up fried chicken and Trish’s famous deviled eggs and beans. Cassie Richardson brought coleslaw, and Carol Jankowski added cornbread. To top off the evening, four desserts were laid out for all to sample. Prizes for the best dressed hippies were given out. The vote was taken, and Barry Joyce and Susan Hebert were declared the best dressed hippies of the evening! The martinis for the evening were the “Like a Rolling Stone” and, of course, “Purple Haze”!
No screen doors or martini glasses were harmed during the party. Until next month, Rock On!
