Rock & Roll Martini Group Rocks ‘Ozzy’

Dave Parker

The house band (host) for the October meeting was Cassie and Jim Richardson. It was a “black out” evening to celebrate Ozzy Ozbourne, the “Prince of Darkness.” The singer, songwriter, and media personality co-founded Black Sabbath in 1968. Known for his “shock rock” antics and wailing vocals, Osbourne cultivated a rebellious, satanic persona. Ozzy was also known for his round glasses, which Cassie and Jim furnished for everyone. Cassie and Jim provided “walking tacos” for everyone to enjoy. The Rockers (members) and guests filled in the appetizers and desserts. The martinis for the evening were the “Prince of Darkness” and “Crazy Train.” During the evening, we welcomed new Rockers Lien and Tim Buchanan. The over-the-top dress for the evening went to Deb and Larry Nortunen who could have doubled for Ozzy and Sharon. Cassie and Jim even had gifts for everyone as they left for the evening. It was certainly a “Dark” evening at the Ranch.

No screen doors or martini glasses were harmed during the party. Until next month, Rock On!
