Our November event at Buff City Soap in Highland Village was a scent-filled experience! We explored the store and their variety of scented soaps, oils, and other products, but had a hard time deciding which were our individual favorites. We learned about the handmaking process and then experienced the magic firsthand by mixing bowls filled with the plant-based ingredients to make six shower bombs. Lavender, coconut, and black raspberry vanilla were among the many scent options we got to choose from to make our gifts. A bit of color and sparkle were added when completed! Wrap them up, tie some ribbon around them, and these gifts are ready to go!
Thanks to Carol Solow, Sally Ryerson, and Linda Kotzur for organizing this event and providing some juice and donut holes for us to nibble on while we shopped for additional items. We were all happy to have some of our holiday shopping done early, and we smelled scent-sational, too!
