The tournament was kicked off with a wine social on Monday at Donna Phillips’ home at 4:00 p.m. We ladies do love to party.

The tournament began on Tuesday and concluded on Wednesday the 11th. It was organized by LaDonna Womochel and Carole Babcock, and they did a wonderful job! It was a straight stroke play tournament following the USGA rules. The Club Championship is a gross tournament, and the Robson Ranch Cup is a net tournament. The weather was pretty nice for this time of year. Twenty-six ladies played the tournament.

On the final day of play there were veggie appetizers and drinks in the gazebo for the ladies to enjoy as we watched the field come in. Results were announced on the patio; they will follow shortly. We then headed inside to find yummy antipasti trays on each table with Italian sausage, veggies and olives. Lunch was your choice of bowtie or penne pasta, red marinara or Alfredo sauce and an array of items to add such as garlic, olives, etc. Our three chefs, Rhett and his crew, heated up each individual choice to our liking. Dessert was a choice of cookies including macaroons.
