The RRWGA held the first annual Swap Meet. If you can’t golf in the Texas heat, it’s time to clean out the closet! That’s exactly what the RRWGA ladies did.
It was organized and hosted by the greatest hostess queen Victoria Pettigrew. What a hostess; there were appetizers galore in her home! She collected donations from anyone who wanted to donate new, barely-used and cleaned items that no longer fit. She organized shirts, skorts, jackets, sweaters by size. There were caps, visors and any kind of golf accessory you could imagine, including gloves, shoes and household decorations.
Approximately 50 women came on August 21 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. to claim what fit, what they didn’t have and what they liked free of charge. Any items left were donated to 1st TEE who picked up that night.
She did so much work organizing this. Thank you so much, Victoria, for all of that and the donation to charity. You know we love you!
