The Sassy Stampers created a beautiful hummingbird card at the February meeting under the direction of the project lead, Jean Euker. This card is so pretty and so inventive with the inside hummingbird on a string that, when opened, will twirl around if wound up prior to closing. Everyone channeled their inner artistic talent using either colored pencils or markers to create a beautiful blast of color for the flowers and hummingbird stamp. So much fun; thank you Jean!
Our club meets the third Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. in Room 104 of the Creative Arts and Technology building. Every month our club members are encouraged to make cards at home and bring them to our monthly meetings. These cards will be used in the Sassy Stampers display window. The display window committee advises a color theme and or holiday theme for each month as a guideline when making these cards. At the monthly meeting, two names are drawn from those who bring cards. The winners this month are Mary Ford and Jean Euker. Each winner receives a gift card to a local craft store. Please stop by the display window near Room 104 of the CATC building and see our beautiful cards.
Our club is an active participant in Support Our Troops by providing cards for the 106 troop members that the Denton Robson Ranch SOT supports. In March, a special Operation Baby Shower cardmaking event takes place.
If you enjoy making cards and are not a member of our club, come join us March 21 at 10 a.m. in Room 104 of the CATC building. See you there! If you have additional club questions, contact Diana Krug at 940-262-3184.
