Sassy Stampers’ March meeting was joined by Support Our Troops President Michael Hoernemann and Nancy Thomas, Correspondence Group, to present a letter of gratitude and appreciation to Sassy Stampers for their participation with Support our Troops. Sassy Stampers, under the leadership of Chair Marti Goodrich, created and supplied approximately 440 greeting cards in 2016 that were sent each month to military members deployed overseas. Cards are also sent to military members stateside every three months.
Stampers meet at the Creative Arts Center as a group or work individually to create cards for this purpose. They spend their time and creativity to assist this worthwhile cause. Feedback from military personnel with their thanks for being remembered is overwhelming. We are hoping to top the 440 number this year. Our local SOT supports approximately 80 service members whose families reside at Robson Ranch.
