The June meeting of the Sigma Chi Fraternity group at Robson was held at the temporary grill for the last time. Brothers are looking forward to the move to the beautiful new facilities. Brother Mick Fox began our meeting with a prayer. The brothers welcomed a new member to the group, Gregor Smith. Gregor graduated from the University of Texas. His wife Susan becomes the newest member of the Sweethearts of Sigma Chi at Robson. At lunch brother Bruce Monroe and brother Gregor discovered that they both played on the same high school football team in Texas! Brother John Humphries announced that our lunch was held on the 161st anniversary of the founding of Sigma Chi at Miami University in Ohio. The brothers also began the process of planning a Sigma Chi float at the Robson 4th of July celebration. We ended the meeting making Deb our honorary Sweetheart for June.
