On Friday, December 14 the Robson Ranch Singles Club gathered at the Clubhouse for its fifteenth annual holiday celebration. What began as a small gathering in 2004 in a member’s home has grown into an elegant dinner party attended by 125 of the club’s current 225 members.
The evening began with a champagne reception. Then Chef Aubrey and staff served a great dinner featuring sweet potato bisque, a salad, London Broil and Chicken Roulade stuffed with goat cheese and spinach, asparagus, an au gratin potato cake and Black Forest cake for dessert. Before and after dinner entertainment was provided by Jiha Choi, teaching fellow and doctoral student in piano performance at UNT. Jiha played a beautiful selection of Christmas themed music in a classical piano style.
The whole club had a great time and thanks Mary Fabian for leading the effort to plan this gathering.
The Singles Club participates in many varied social, cultural and community service activities throughout the year. We meet every Tuesday to “Mix and Mingle” at the Grill from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in learning more about the club, stop by to see us there.
