Teresa’s House in Argyle opened in the Spring of 2023 and has already been named the “Best of Denton County” winner in the Assisted Living Facility category in its first year of operation. Teresa L. Whittington, RN, BSN, and Godwin G. Dixon, NFA, are career senior care professionals who have achieved international recognition for the quality of their Dallas area communities. They are both longtime area residents who wanted to bring that high level of quality to their own community. They opened the first Teresa’s House in Craig Ranch McKinney in 2020, followed by the Argyle location in 2023. Local physicians and nurses also have a stake in ownership, which makes a difference in the quality of care. Teresa’s House features the best staffing ratios in senior care and is one of the few local senior care communities with 24/7 nurses and state-certified staff, providing care in state-of-the-art senior specific home settings. Assisted Living, Memory Care, Advanced Care

Our spacious, beautiful community is located in Argyle, on 377, just north of Liberty Christian Academy and next to the Pet Spa. Our location allows us to provide both intergenerational programs with area schools and a wide variety of pet therapies, including our onsite miniature horses. Special features for our Memory Care residents include a vintage therapeutic kitchen and a “man cave”/classic car garage.
