Maureen Lehrer
The Minnesota State Flag, owned by Jay and Liz Rippberger, was on display in front of Ron and Maureen Lehrer’s home on November 12 as they hosted the Minnesota residents of Robson Ranch. The 45 guests enjoyed a delicious Minnesota style potluck dinner and lively conversations. A Minnesota Vikings theme was used to set the stage; Ron has a lot of those items after all these years.
As usual “Isn’t it a small world” came up: several folks found out that they had a connection from their younger years in Minnesota, amazing—right here at RR. Carol Foster’s second cousin, Wayne Lussier, was in attendance! A person just never knows who they might run into some place!
The co-hosts for the event were Bill and Shirley Revering who are friends of the Lehrers from their time in Georgetown, TX and now here, Bruce and Carol Foster, H.S. classmate, and Larry Dougherty, a good friend.
Others in attendance were Jim and Deb Propes, Dennis and Ardy Jacobson, Wayne and Nancy Lussier, John and Joanne Kirk, Lenie and Loren Christenson, Reg and Peg Rezac, John and Mary Goodpaster, Dave and Susan Parker, Jim and Mary Doyle, Ron and Lorna Anderson, John and Nancy Chorba, Art and Dori Oldre, LeRoy and Lavelle Carlson, Michael and Karen Herzig, Manly and Judy Osborn, Kevin and Carla Haugaard, Jim and Betty Gardner and Dale and Cindy Brekke. So sorry that the Kirks didn’t make the photos.
All the best to all the new friends we made! So glad you all attended.
We welcome all Minnesotans to attend our get togethers. See you all around our beautiful Robson Ranch.
