The Robson Ranch Tennis Club held its annual Breakfast at RR Wimbledon mixer on Saturday, June 25. The event was a great success, keeping all five tennis courts hopping with activity all morning with a progressive tennis competition for 26 highly motivated players. The format was to play four-game rounds, beginning with randomly assigned partners followed by the winners moving up to higher courts and losers moving down to lower courts, always changing partners upon a move. After six rounds of tight competition, the battle for king and queen of the courts was won by Jim Gregg and Lynne Hyatt. Jesse Cardenas and Liz Tesoriero were the runners up. Congratulations!
In keeping with the traditions of the concurrent Wimbledon tournament in England, after the competition a social time serving strawberries and cream as well as lemonade was available to Tennis Club members and their guests on the Fitness Center patio.
