The Robson Ranch Tennis Club participated in the Senior Olympics with a series of preliminary matches leading up to a playoff between the four early match survivors. The final “Medal Round” was played on Saturday, September 24. The four finalists played a three-set round robin match consisting of one set with each of the other finalists. After a two and a half hour epic battle cheered on by a rowdy gallery, the winner was Lynne Hyatt, closely followed by runner-up Jesse Cardenas. The event, played over a four-week period, was a terrific success and great fun for all. After the round robin final all four finalist contenders received prizes consisting of certificates from our gracious host, the Wildhorse Grill! Congratulations!
