The Farmer’s Market Grows Again!

Patti Smith

Wells Berry Farm is more than just a family farm; it’s a living piece of history. Located in East Texas, the land has been in the Wells family for generations. It was originally granted by Texas to an ancestor for his service during the Battle of the Alamo, and ever since, the family has continued to live on and work on that same ground.

A seasonal selection of fruit, including sun-ripened peaches, plums, sweet blackberries, and juicy blueberries, is grown on the farm, and all fruit is picked by hand and delivered fresh to our Farmer’s Market on Friday mornings.

The price for peaches by the quart is $8, and a double quart is $14. Blackberries and blueberries are $5 for a pint and $10 for a quart. Plums are $8 by the quart.

As new market vendors, Adam and his family are excited to bring their produce to new customers who value flavor and freshness. The orchard is a symbol of resilience and pride, and the family is honored to share the fruit of that legacy with all the residents here at Robson Ranch.
