On Aug. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Rockin’ Red Ranchers gathered at the RR covered Pinnacle terrace for a fun-filled ice cream social. Even though the Texas sun brought temperatures to a sweltering 92 degrees at noon, 22 ladies opted for a sweet treat instead of a swim. The members built their own refreshing ice cream sundaes, complete with all the toppings, and to everyone’s delight, the ice cream stayed perfectly cool, with more than enough to go around.
The event was filled with laughter and lighthearted games, including Pin the Cherry on the Ice Cream Cone, Ice Cream Bingo, and a lively Watermelon Toss. Adding to the fun, each table featured a collection of quirky, colorful sunglasses, which the ladies enjoyed trying on for playful photo ops. Hosts Mala Bowdouris, Marianne DiLiberto, and Kasey Miller enjoyed decorating and planning the event, making the day one to remember.
