We have been to the Robson Ranch Women’s Club Holiday Market and are looking forward to preparing for the holiday season. During and after Thanksgiving, we begin decorating our homes for Christmas. Some already have their outdoor lights up!
We know six homeowners who have already been decorating their homes. The Robson Ranch Women’s Club is truly grateful and would like to recognize them. They will open their homes on Sunday, Dec. 10, from 3 to 6 p.m. If you know or see these families, be sure to thank them for all they are doing to help the less fortunate of Denton County. Proceeds of the tour benefit Our Daily Bread Together with Monsignor King Outreach Center.
The homeowners are as follows:
Carol and Ralph Jankowski at 9912 Soriano Street. The Jankowskis love Christmas, especially Carol. Every room is decorated, including their nine themed Christmas trees.
Cindy and Charlie Warner at 9705 Stonewood Drive. Cindy tells us that when she decorates their home for Christmas, every room has a different theme. She changes the themes from year to year by hand-placing each item and individually tying each bow to allow herself room for new creative opportunities each Christmas. The Warners enjoy watching how different rooms touch people in special ways. There will also be a Wine Pull table on the patio. Get a bottle of wine for $10!
Laurie and Jeff Wiginton at 9813 Lindenwood Trail. One of Laurie’s favorite Christmas treasures is their village. Each piece has a special story. The police station was bought as a tribute to Jeff’s 34-year career, and there is a yellow bed and breakfast similar to the first one the couple stayed in, just to name a couple of sweet memories for the Wigintons.
Lisa and Scott Olsen at 9500 Crestview Drive will have an eclectic display of traditional Christmas favorites, fun and unusual themes, as well as lifelong collections of all things Christmas.
Rosey and Tony Ross at 11121 Cartwright Drive. This home has many unique features, such as a snow village tree (the Rosses designed and built), a travel tree with ornaments from around the world from their travels, and much more. The community will enjoy the home’s outside décor at night. There are stars in many locations outside, but the central focus is the Star of Bethlehem, which can be seen from afar.
Dean and Carrie Summers at 11928 Brant Way. There is the family’s nativities and Santas, a Western-themed guest room, the Grinch study, and many more wonders around the home. Be sure to check out the back patio. There will be a Wine Pull for $10 each!
This event is for the Robson Ranch community, their family, and friends (adults only). Tickets are $25 each and will be on sale from Nov. 17 through Dec. 8, from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at the clubhouse. Ticket holders may begin the tour at any home.
This will be a fun way to enjoy the afternoon and get into the Christmas spirit!
Please mark your calendars for Dec. 10.
