The Robson Ranch clubhouse ballroom was alive with 300 fun-loving, enthusiastic Trivia players for the first Trivia Night of 2024 conducted by the RR Trivia Club. The fellowship, fun, and team competition atmosphere exemplifies the spirit of living at Robson Ranch. We awarded nearly $2,000 in prizes to individuals and entire tables. Prizes included gift cards to the Wildhorse Grill and Visa gift cards.
The winning top three teams were as follows: Taking first place was Trivial Matters with 81 points, with each member winning a $50 gift card. Forget-Me-Not landed in second place with 72 points, with each member winning a $25 gift card. And Skull Crusher scored a very close 71 points to earn third place and a $20 gift card for each member. Congratulations to all!
Thanks to all the participants, a donation from the evening event was made to the Community Clothes Closet in Justin. The Community Clothes Closet is a nonprofit, charitable organization established as a Christian outreach to assist families with free clothing in Denton and surrounding counties.
The team names stay creative: Quizzards, Wise Crackers, The Right Stuff.

Our next game night for 2024 will be held on Thursday, May 2. We will announce the ticket sales date through the RR HOA Clubs & Activities email, on the HOA Message Board, and on some Facebook and Nextdoor RR-only social media sites. Tickets are $15 each. You may purchase a table as a team of 10 or purchase individual tickets. We invite you to join us for a lighthearted evening with neighbors and friends!
The Trivia Club, formed in 2022, has new officers for 2024, freeing up the founders to play the game once again. The new officers are Barbara Leurig, club president; Greg Laffey, vice president; and Gwynn Rucker, treasurer. Volunteers from the Robson Ranch Kiwanis Club will support the Trivia Club. We continue to recognize and thank Rance and Marci Malcom who worked to automate the scoring system and slideshow, making the game much more enjoyable.
