Is it the romance in the air? The flowers, the chocolate, or Cupid’s arrow? Is it the red hearts that cover every gift shop and every market? Or is it simply because it’s a holiday that is all about love? Whatever the case, Valentine’s Day is a day filled with gestures of love, kindness, and friendship. A day to send out that special greeting card.
Skipping the store-bought cards, the women of Rockin’ Red Ranchers spent one morning in late January showing our Valentines just how much we cared by creating one-of-a-kind, handmade greeting cards. Some cards were romantic, others whimsical. But each card uniquely expressed the love, affection, or friendship for that special someone.
And to continue that spirit, in February the women shared a Valentine lunch at the Wildhorse Grill. Having a meal with your girlfriends, especially lunch, was a great way of making the everyday extra special, especially when it included nibbling on chocolate.
But it isn’t just about gifts or cards or lunches, it’s the thought that there are some pretty special people in our lives and we’re pretty darned lucky to have them! That’s what friendship’s all about. That’s what Rockin’ Red Ranchers is all about.
