Voices United members display their Christmas-themed protest posters.

Members of Voices United got creative at the December meeting. The members were challenged to make protest posters using a Christmas theme.
The meeting began with the introduction of the guests, followed by the election of the new members of the Steering Committee. Ann Sullivan and Anne Adams were elected to hold two-year terms, and Jan Lands was elected to a one-year term. The Steering Committee coordinates the work of the committees, handles all of the administrative work for the group, and oversees monthly meetings.
Following lunch, each table was given supplies to help them create their posters. After brainstorming their ideas, the members set to work. At the end, seven very creative posters were produced. Some of the themes included “Time to Ring Up Change,” “Holiday Spirit—Make It Last,” and “Santa’s Naughty List.”
Voices United meets at 11 a.m. on the first Saturday of the month in the clubhouse. Reservations are required to attend.
