We Asked, and You Delivered!

After Schoolers volunteers

Patti Ewoldt

The After Schoolers began their annual food drive in November to help 35 selected Borman Elementary families with the excess going to the school pantry to assist other families. Collections were again overwhelming from the generous community living in Robson Ranch.

Special gratitude needs to be given to two other organizations at the Ranch. The Pickleball Club collected and donated an awesome number of groceries, as well as financial gifts. The Material Girls used their magic skills to design and sew Christmas stockings. They were then filled with special treats and added to each bag. Both clubs’ support has been beyond extraordinary.

To all the residents who dropped off food at the clubhouse parking lot, thank you for your generous donations.

Finally, appreciation to the members who worked collecting, sorting, and delivering the donations to Borman Elementary. Special recognition goes to LeRoy Carlson, Bob Cook, and Sam Karr. Thank you, gentlemen, for all you do for us and the school families we serve.

Concluding our big year, both Borman Elementary and LaGrone Academy staff were given a monetary cash gift delivered in a Christmas card, with a personal handwritten thank you for all they do for the students. Again, this was made possible with money raised at our fall garage sale.

After Schoolers thank each and every one in Robson Ranch for your continued support. Remember, we rise by supporting others!

Happy New Year and hope to see you in April at our spring garage sale.
