On May 8 Women Sharing Hope attended a retreat in Broken Bow, Okla. The ladies stayed in two amazing rental homes for four nights and returned home on May 12. The retreat was a great opportunity to develop relationships, relax in the cool pines, enjoy some delicious meals prepared by the group, and, more importantly, draw closer to the Lord.

Each day there were morning and evening devotionals. The theme this year was taken from a book written by noted author Priscilla Shirer called A Jewel in His Crown: Rediscovering Your Value as a Woman of Excellence. In her book, “Priscilla reveals to all God’s women who they are in Christ—Daughters of King Jesus—and what He has in store for those who follow Him.”

During the rest of the day, the ladies were free to take long walks, find beautiful rock crystals, take naps, meditate, read, play games, or just visit and get to know each other better. All in all, this retreat accomplished its purpose of motivating each lady to come back refreshed and ready to set personal goals for the coming year.

We hope you will join us for our upcoming October Retreat at Camp Copass in Denton. More details to come later this summer.
