While fear can be crippling, purpose can be enabling. The theme of the Women Sharing Hope Oct. 18-20 Retreat is “Lose Fear, Gain Purpose.” At this Retreat we will work through our fears together and rejoice in finding our purpose.
There will be lots of time to make new friends, learn the salsa dance, and much more.
Three exciting Christian authors will be speaking on this year’s theme: Dr. Elizabeth Vaughan, retired eye surgeon and international missionary who has a YouTube channel called “Glory Stories” and has written several books, including He Just Needs a Body; Kathy Howard, national and international speaker and Bible study writer; and Joyce Stanley, Christian counselor and leader on forgiveness.
Their Spirit-filled, power-packed presentations and audience participation will provide equipping tools for dealing with fear and will show us how to find God’s purpose for our lives.
The Retreat will be held at Camp Copass, which some people call the beautiful, best kept secret in Denton. We will be staying in the Tally Retreat Center, which is like a 50-room hotel on a lake.
The deadline for the $50 registration fee is Sept. 18, and payment balance is due by Oct. 1. Participants can choose the day option or the day and night option.
