We are excited to host Kendall Meade, owner of Brandt Travel. Kendall will educate us on the savviest travel tricks! She will also share tips for packing and “Do you really need that many shoes?”
Kendall will also impart wisdom regarding ways we can use spaces in our ship cabins and hotel rooms for storage. Who knew? She will also inform us how to build an international, multi-year plan that allows us to accomplish our travel goals!

Luncheon checks are due by Monday, July 29, at 8 a.m. Deposit your $19 luncheon check in the Cimarron Sports Center, Women’s Lounge, white mailbox. You may also pay via PayPal on the Women’s Club website, rrwomensclub.org.
As a recap: The June luncheon was on June 3. President Lisa Olson called the meeting to order and reminded members that a slideshow will continuously run during lunch with key information. Lisa Olson and Donna DeBoever then introduced new members, first-time attendees, and guests.
Gayle Lee celebrated the June birthdays. There was a drawing for the birthday card, lunch certificate, and lottery ticket. The winner was Felicia Cross.
Lisa stated that the club has 493 members. She reminded everyone that separate checks are required for lunches and annual membership.
Suzanne Spisak with Community Outreach announced that $410 was raised at the luncheon. The funds went to Denton County Friends of the Family. A Share the Blessings drawing was held. Lynn Watson won a lunch certificate.
Lisa and Lori Stockton thanked the homeowners, volunteers, committee members, and tour attendees for supporting the Patio Tour. Two hundred fifty tour tickets were sold, along with 200 raffle tickets. The preliminary total raised for charity was approximately $8,000. The raffle drawing was held for the four-night vacation. The winner was Rose Depoe.
Gayle Lee reminded everyone of the upcoming Patio Pool Party on June 17.
Lisa thanked Dee Sico and her Special Events group, the “Bus Babes,” who helped on the bus for a fun trip to Bentonville, Ark.
Lisa also announced “Save the Date” for the Tacos & Margaritas day outing in Dallas on Sept. 19. Go to the Women’s Club website, rrwomensclub.org, for registration information.
Lisa mentioned that the Women’s Club has a new Facebook page and encouraged members to “Like” and follow. There is also a to-do checklist on each table with upcoming events and information.
Pam Dotson announced the July program would be Pam’s son. He is an ex Special Ops. She then introduced Chico’s in Highland Village Fashion Show. Everyone enjoyed a fashion show with Women’s Club members modeling the outfits.
