Join us on Monday, March 6, as we welcome Don Shannon. Don has over four decades of experience in piping and teaching bagpipes. Don is also the Pipe Major of the award-winning North Texas Caledonian Pipes and Drums. He has also performed for most of the British Royal Family (including Queen Elizabeth II), Prime Minister Tony Blair, and President George W. Bush, as well as countless other dignitaries around the world. Don has also played on numerous occasions with The Chieftains, Ireland’s premier musical ambassadors, including touring with them in 2006.
This unique program promises to inspire and entertain you with Don Shannon’s brilliant expertise on the bagpipes and his rousing venue!
Clubhouse ballroom doors open at 11 a.m., and lunch is served at 11:30 a.m.
Our Monthly Charity is Denton Community Food Center.
The buffet consists of a baked potato bar with chili, mixed cheese, chives, bacon bits, sour cream, and broccoli and red velvet cake.
Luncheon checks are due Monday, Feb. 27, by 8 a.m.
Deposit your $19 luncheon check at the Cimarron Sports Center, Women’s Lounge, in the mailbox on the wall. You may also pay with PayPal by going on the Women’s Club website, rrwomensclub.org.
