The Robson Ranch Women’s Club will host our next monthly luncheon on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026. Doors open at 11 a.m., and lunch is served at 11:20 a.m. Jill Rumbley-Beam, author, speaker, jazzercise coach, dancer, and former Ms. Texas Senior America, will share her energy and excitement as a storyteller.
January buffet: Pulled pork, BBQ sauce, macaroni and cheese, Hawaiian slider buns, and house salad with ranch and balsamic dressing. Dessert: Cherry cobbler with whipped cream. Monthly drink feature ($6): Midnight Mimosa (orange vodka, orange juice, topped with sparkling wine).
Luncheon checks are due by Monday, Dec. 29, at 8 a.m. Deposit your $21 luncheon check in the Sports Center, Women’s Lounge, in the white mailbox. You can also pay for your luncheon by credit card. Check the website at www.rrwomensclub.org.
For the November meeting, Donna Deboever and Chris Anderson introduced new members, first-time attendees, and guests. There were nine individuals introduced. During the meeting, we learned that as of the meeting, we had 524 members.
Shirley Monge celebrated the November birthdays. The drawing for the birthday card, lunch certificate, and lottery ticket was won by Patricia Fairhurst.
Donna announced some changes for the 2026 luncheons. The price will increase to $21. Only one alternate meal (salad with chicken breast) will be offered. Salad and gluten-free dressings will be at every luncheon. A specialty cocktail will be offered for purchase. Beginning in January, online purchases will change from PayPal to credit card, in addition to cash and checks.
Sandra Mankowich shared recommended changes to the bylaws, which were approved by the members.
Donna Deboever thanked Lisa Olsen for the slate of candidates and asked for any nominations from the floor. Receiving none, members voted in favor of the presented candidates.

Lorie Stockton recognized the Holiday Market team of Linda Bragg, Chris Anderson, KD Rutherford, Melissa Dewitt, Gayle Coe, and Bert Zeitlin. There were more than 1,500 attendees at the show with the largest amount raised: $17,687.55.
Gayle Lee spoke about the last social for the year, Thankful & Grateful, scheduled for Nov 23 at 5 p.m. There were gifts for everyone who attended, and it was open to all female residents of Robson Ranch.
Lorie announced that the Holiday Home Tour was scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 7, from 3 to 7 p.m. There were six new homes beautifully decorated.
Donna announced an upcoming RRWC trip on Feb. 11, 2026, to Bass Hall to see the Tony award-winning musical Six. Tickets are on sale now. Sign up early.

Candy Anderson announced that the December program will be holiday song entertainment performed by the Hilltop Elementary School 5th grade choir. She introduced Dr. Shaun Treat, a local historian and Denton tour guide, who shared several stories of interesting women in Denton’s past history.
