2025 was a very busy year for the Yarn Divas who meet every Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the CATC building. We made baby and stillborn blankets, lap blankets, Knitted Knockers for women with breast cancer, preemie octopus where the baby thinks it is holding onto the mother, baby hats, scarves, dish clothes/pot holders, and slippers. In total, we knitted or crocheted 1,832 items with a group of 30 women.
We donated to four different hospitals in Texas, five different church organizations, PUSH-UNT for foster children who age out of foster care but complete college, and a few other organizations for the needy.
Everyone is welcomed to join this very talented group.
