Robson Ranch’s Adopt-A-Hole program has been active for many years, organized and promoted by Larry Turner from its beginning. Larry is taking a rest, but the program is alive and well with many new participants actively helping to keep our course in great shape. Our participants enter the course at off hours such as the afternoon or evening following a course closure or tournaments to pick up trash, broken tees, fill divots, check traps for broken rakes, repair ball marks on greens and other things that the individual sees that helps maintain the hole’s beauty and condition. This is a great supplement to the outstanding work of our superintendent and the golf course maintenance crew. You may see folks out with sand bottles filling divots, plastic bags picking up trash or walking the greens with heads bowed and wonder what is going on. These are our hole adopters doing their best to support the grounds crew in keeping Wildhorse Golf Courses beautiful. Thanks to Larry Turner for his leadership over the past years and to our participants for their efforts. You won’t see them swinging a golf club while they work to support us all.
