How appreciative the teachers at Gonzales were as we supported them with a Subway luncheon on October 23. Since the teachers have the same lunch period we were able to visit with them one-on-one and take time to introduce themselves and our club. Many teachers took time out of their busy schedule to write personal thank you notes for the monetary gift we gave them to start the school year.
Gonzales is a three to four-year old campus whose inside campus is designed like a town. The outside of each room resembles a building in a town like police and fire station, bakery, etc. The hallway floors are painted like a road as you walk along. Mary Doyle, Cathy Harden, Sandra Richards, Ann Madigan and Pat Hamblin enjoyed showing their support from the After Schoolers Club.
