On December 3, 2018 the Robson Ranch Republican Club was delighted to host Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, and his wife, Angela, who is also the new state senator for SD8 in McKinney, to our annual Christmas banquet. The Wildhorse Grill did an outstanding job in preparing the buffet dinner and we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Christmas piano music was provided by Rebecca Bafford and Angela Paxton even performed her original Pistol packing mama whose husband sues Obama song. It turns out the title of Angela’s song is actually quite true. Attorney General Paxton explained how Greg Abbott, when he was attorney general, filed 31 lawsuits against the federal government and Paxton has filed 27 lawsuits against the federal government so far. Attorney General Paxton shared with everyone how important Texas is in leading the effort to challenge federal overreach by initiating appropriate litigation in federal courts. We are proud of the work being done by Attorney General Paxton’s office, and we are grateful he was re-elected for another four-year term.
