Gun Club competes in Tactical Hand Gun Competition

The Robson Ranch Gun Club held a handgun competition at the end of March at ProActive Defense. On a beautiful morning after a rainy week the competition was set. The competitors first shot “El Presidente” with a first round of six shots on three different targets. A magazine change with six additional shots on the same targets was next. A one-second penalty for each missed shot at the center of the target was assessed. A second competition with steel targets was next. Seven shots were placed on seven steel targets. A second magazine was loaded and seven more shots were placed on the seven steel targets. Total time minus all target hits was completed. After a beautiful day of competitive shooting, the group moved to 407 BBQ and had a delicious lunch. Future competitions are scheduled and listed on the My Grove website.
