The Robson Ranch Gun Club is made up of six different groups: the Tactical Handgun Group, Clay Target Group, Antique Gun Group, Hunting Group, Reloading Group and Retired Law Enforcement Group. One of the most active and energetic groups is the Women’s Group. An outing to a Lewisville Gun Range was organized by Barry Steele who is a trained range safety officer and shooting instructor. Joseph Ace also assisted the group. Six women from the Women’s Group received instruction in acquiring the target, trigger pull, stance, grip and safety. On Tuesday it is women’s day at the range, and the range fee is only $5 and women can shoot any of over 150 guns for free. Ammunition is the only thing that needs to purchased or brought in. It was a great day of shooting for the women. Judy Ondina is the leader of the Women’s Group in the Gun Club. Anyone at the Ranch that would like to join the Gun Club email Dave Parker at [email protected]. There are no dues to belong to the club.
