Do yourself a big favor and plan an evening with friends at Grapes to Wine. This is a unique wine bar that offers a relaxing and friendly atmosphere, located in Bartonville Town Center. In addition to indoor seating there is a beautiful outdoor patio with fire pits.

Mary and Roy Bryant planned a fantastic “Private Tasting” for the Heard It Through The Grapevine wine group. Dan Adams, the owner, personally served and educated us, focusing on the aromas and food pairings.

The six wines chosen for the tasting were the following: 2015 Feudi di San Gregorio Sannio Campagnia, IT; 2015 Moniker Chardonnay, Mendocino County, CA; 2015 Ancient Vine Cinsault, Michael David Winery, Lodi, CA; 2014 Corvidae Lenore Syrah, Columbia Valley, Washington; 2014 Casa Smith Cinghiale Sangiovese, Mattawa, Columbia Valley, WA; 2014 Seventy-Five Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, CA.

We walked across the street to Palermo’s Italian Café, serving delicious authentic Italian Cuisine. We were allowed to BYOB and enjoyed our favorite wine along with our savory meal.

I know of no better layout for a delightful evening of wine tasting and dinner; close to home and convenient. What a wonderful time we all had.
