For over eight years one of the most popular and unique social events for Robson Ranch residents has been the annual Holiday Gala held at the Texas Motor Speedway and sponsored by the Robson Ranch Social Committee. Although the dress is not mandatory, the Gala provides the opportunity for residents to dress in their most elegant outfits and join with 340 other residents for a formal dinner and dance in a spectacular setting high atop the Speedway’s tallest building.

This year the Gala will be held from 7:00-11:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9. The cost is $85 per person, and the remaining tickets will be sold at the clubhouse from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout November. Residents can drive themselves the 10 miles to the Speedway or can purchase $8 roundtrip bus tickets. Bus riders will start the evening’s festivities with a free glass of champagne.

Guests will ride the elevators to the top floor and be ushered to their reserved table assignments. Wine and cocktails will be available throughout the evening along with dancing from a popular band. A choice of entrees will be available from the several buffet-style serving stations with multiple offerings from various dessert tables. A complementary bottle of red wine and a complementary bottle of white wine will grace each table.

The widely acclaimed ProSession Band featuring seven pieces including two female vocalists, three rhythm musicians who will also sing and two horns (trumpet, trombone and sax), will feature its wonderful music all evening long.

The Robson Ranch Social Committee was established over eight years ago. The purpose of the committee was to plan and carry out a variety of social events for the Ranch including many events on various holidays, pool parties in the summer, Casino Night and ending the year with the fabulous Holiday Gala. It is staffed entirely by Robson Ranch resident volunteers.
