Note: We learned at the Medicare program in March that new Medicare cards are being sent out to all Medicare patients over the coming year, now through April 2019. The major change will be a new Medicare number that is not the same as the Social Security number. Make sure your mailing address is up-to-date to receive the new card. Visit ssa.gov/myaccount or call 1-800-772-1213, if needed, to correct your mailing address.
