Northstar provides new features for homeowners

Brenda Johnston

We are pleased to announce that RCI will be transitioning to Northstar, a leading provider of business management software for private clubs and community associations. Their state-of-the-art community management software system will become part of all RCI communities in order to maximize operational efficiency. Northstar offers enhanced financial reporting and increased capabilities in managing business operations such as accounting, food and beverage operations and golf management along with many other enhancements for HOA operations.

In addition to offering enhanced financial reporting and increased capabilities in managing the HOA operations, the Northstar system will provide many features for residents as well. Once the system is fully applied, homeowners will have one location to be able to access a wide variety of information for departments such as golf, Wildhorse Grill and more. Future capabilities for individuals include the ability to access their own profile information, view online statements for HOA dues and other charges making it easier for everyone to manage their own personal information.

Homeowner cards that are compatible with the new system will begin to be distributed later this year. In addition to being used for identification, the new cards will have the potential to be used for expanded charging privileges. Some areas that may be included are buying tickets for HOA sponsored concerts and events and purchasing items in the pro shop.

Prior to being able to produce and distribute the new cards, homeowners will be asked to verify their contact and billing information. This can be done via a secure online form that will be available in the near future, or if you prefer to fill out a paper form you can pick one up at the HOA office.

More information on this process will be made available on the website, in the daily email bulletin and in the Pioneer Press. We look forward to this new and exciting system application.
