Susan would like to thank everyone who attended the 2018 Free Day of Yoga. Susan, teacher and Robson Ranch resident, taught a Yoga Nidra class which was well attended by residents. Susan has offered this special practice at the Ranch on several other occasions. The Yoga Nidra class is one of her highest attended classes and offers individuals total relaxation and healing.

Students who participated in the Yoga class were refreshed and relaxed. Nancy Tastle came up to Susan after practice and said, “That was a wonderful practice I really enjoyed it!” Bob Tastle said. “I have never felt so relaxed.” Martha Butz said, “I really enjoyed it but, I liked the practice you had in the afternoon better.” Susan suggested “Perhaps between 3:00 and 4:30 p.m., is the optimal time for a practice, as this is a natural time when most people feel a lull in energy. This may be a time of day you can benefit from becoming more grounded. Another participant stated, “There needs to be more yoga available here at Robson Ranch,” she feels that yoga has changed her life. While another said yoga has made her so much more aware of her body.

The Free Day of Yoga is always fun and an opportunity to give individuals who are curious about yoga a day to explore. Susan teaches several styles of yoga including Yoga for Healthy Aging, a more energetic Vinyasa Flow class, Yin Yoga and a Beginner Yoga on the mat or in the chair. She believes yoga is good for everyone.

Susan is very much looking forward to the newly remodeled room at the Sports Club that will be available for Yoga and Pilates classes. Susan stated, “it will be awesome to finally have a permanent home in one location, which will help grow the yoga program at Robson Ranch. Susan is a RYT 500 Certified Yoga Teacher who has been teaching at Robson Ranch for over six years and has taught over 1500 hours of classes. Susan says “it is truly an honor that my students show up week after week and I just love teaching them.
