Thank You for Being a Friend
Abby McIntyre
Hello friend! It is officially autumn. Suddenly the sunshine isn’t so sweltering, and the breeze is just a little cooler. Visions of pumpkins, spiced cider, and warm family gatherings have started to fill everyone’s heads. The coziness and warmth autumn brings is just what the doctor ordered for us. This month we’re focusing on creative ways you can add designer touches to your home that takes your space from season to season. Before we dive into the world of design though, the staff here at Carol’s want to thank our wonderful Robson family.
We know things have been a little silent on our end around Robson Ranch the past month or so. We have recently had two of our employees contract COVID-19 and, as a result, have had to slow down the business a little bit during their recovery. Rest assured, we have taken the time we need to make a full recovery and are excited to see you again after so long. Your countless prayers, well wishes, and support have been so encouraging to us in the midst of this hardship. You certainly do know how to uplift us during such discouraging times, friend. We will still be abiding by the CDC’s COVID-19 guidelines by first limiting our number of appointments per day. This will include our showroom’s hours to be by appointment only, continuing to wear masks during all appointments, and sanitizing the showroom between every visit. It is our priority to ensure we are all safe and healthy. Thank you again. We could not have survived these past months without your unwavering support.
Now back to that designer touch I mentioned earlier. One of my favorite ways to incorporate a designer look in your home is through Hunter Douglas’ Duette Honeycomb shades. Offered in an array of fabrics and textures, Duette shades add the perfect amount of soft sophistication to your room. While the usual appeal for Texans is the shade’s incredible ability to keep out the summer heat, the double-celled fabrication allows for the shade to insulate your room to keep the warmth in your home as we march into autumn. Layering this texture with other elements in your space can create a perfectly cozy atmosphere. Analysts have predicted that one of the most popular textures of the season will be a curly, faux teddy fur seen on pillows, throw blankets, and even some small upholstered pieces. Popularized by the apparel industry last year as a winter coat material, this texture has made its way from the runway to the hallway just in time to find its place in your home. Its playfulness and warmth are sure to have your loved ones cuddled around the fireplace with you this season.
So once again, thank you for being a friend to us. We hope you are just as excited as we are to get back to designing your spaces. Give us a call at 940-565-8337 today to schedule an appointment.
Happy designing!
