The Sigma Chi dinner attendees

The first annual Sweetheart of Sigma Chi dinner was recently held at Susan and David Parker’s home. Seven of the nine Robson Sigma Chi’s were able to attend with their sweethearts.
An Italian dinner was served with Wayne and Lucy Rees, Norm Leggett and Nancy Walsh bringing appetizers. Dwight and Lolly Evans brought a salad and Ken and Consie Javor served breadsticks. Mick and Ann Fox served a cherry cobbler and John and Lori Humphries provided a rum cake.
Al and Carol Grundstrom and Pat and Sheilah Ross were not able to attend.
The members of the Sigma Chi group dug out their pins and wore them to the dinner. After dinner the men serenaded their dates by singing The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi. Other fraternity songs were also remembered and sung led by Dwight and Lolly. John and Lori brought a dozen roses so that each sweetheart went home with a rose to remember the occasion.
The Sigma Chi group meets once a month for lunch or a special event.
