Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 16, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. for the Robson Ranch recycling day in the clubhouse parking lot.
We will have battery drop-off and drug disposal service again for this recycling event. The battery drop-off will be next to the drug drop-off. You will also be given a brochure on the City of Denton’s hazardous waste curbside drop-off location and the items they will accept. We will not be accepting hazardous waste at the recycling event.
Magic Shred and Computer Crushers will be in the clubhouse parking lot. As before, we ask that all vehicles (cars/trucks/golf carts) form a line at the south end of the parking lot.
Please don’t park your vehicle and walk to the shredding sites due to vehicles moving through the driveway.
You’ll be able to shred all of your personal papers (bank statements, tax returns, etc.) for $5 for any container you can carry. Computer Crushers will take virtually any computer or electronic (cell/house phones, speakers, old chargers, cables and even batteries) item at no charge. However, there will be a charge for old televisions (cost varies with size). They will crush your hard drives for $5.
The Denton Drug Disposal program will be here for Robson residents to familiarize us with this program.
Bring any medications that are expired or you no longer need in the original bottles/containers.
Cross out your name if it’s a prescription drug.
Please don’t empty the bottles of unwanted drugs in plastic Ziploc bags.
This service requires a Denton police officer to accompany the disposal kiosk due to legal requirements for the possessing, transporting and disposing of controlled substances. There is also a disposal kiosk available at the Denton Police Headquarters, 601 E. Hickory in Denton.
Contact Althea Parent at 940-246-1002 for more information on any of these services.
