The Women Sharing Hope Widows Ministry held their quarterly tea on May 6 at the home of Bobbi Stringer. The ladies from the Fall 2022 Beauty for Ashes grief support group hosted this quarter’s tea, providing a variety of delicious delicacies, some of which included smoked salmon sandwiches; cream cheese sandwiches with mint, cress, and cucumber; lemon curd tarts; chocolate truffles; and an assortment of black and green teas.
The name tags included everyone’s street address, allowing for a fun initial mixer discovering who lived where in the Ranch and which ladies lived in their neighborhood. After refreshments, the ladies enjoyed hearing each other share the highlight of their year 50 years ago in 1973.
This program was created as a ministry of Women Sharing Hope to support widows in encouraging each other and developing new and lasting friendships.
Women Sharing Hope exists to develop friendships, grow in faith, and share God’s love. We meet the third Friday of each month at 10 a.m. at the clubhouse. Watch for the Punchbowl invitation with your special invite each month.
