The Robson Ranch Music Club has hit the ground running to start off the new year. Well, actually, some are running, some are walking quickly, some are gimping, and some are dragging on in, but in any case, reading for great concerts and events in the new year! After such a wonderful Christmas Concert, which many of you came to and enjoyed, the choir is anxious to get back to business. Rehearsals began on Jan. 22 for the next concert. Over the last 20 years, the club has been providing concerts and events at Robson, affording the ability for residents to go steps from their front door to enjoy concerts and events. They are very much aware that Rome, indeed, was not built in a day! The club has evolved, changed, and risen to challenges over the years. “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” —Pelé That is exactly what the members have learned over the years.
The Robson Ranch Choir will present their 20th-year anniversary concerts on April 20 at 7 p.m. and April 21 at 4 p.m. Mark your calendars now! The choir will perform its greatest hits of the last 20 years—music that will have you spellbound, agog, and wanting more!
Before the concerts, however, on Sunday, Feb. 18, join in Singo (Music Bingo) from 2 to 4 p.m. It will be an afternoon of listening to great songs while trying to win a prize! You may purchase multiple cards for $10 each. Purchase cards at the door. It is the month of love, so why not come as a couple? Bring your bunco buddies, your keno friends, your grandkids even—playful fun for all!
Then on Sunday, March 3, at 2 p.m., you are invited to enjoy the Youth Symphony of Denton. Enjoy this splendidly talented group of young talent. You will hear a great assortment of classical music just minutes from your front door. It’s a lovely and enjoyable way to spend an afternoon while supporting the talent of the resolute youth in the area. Tickets will be sold at the door.
On May 3 at 7 p.m. is the Cinco de Mayo Dance/Karaoke Merry Margarita Day. Come celebrate this traditional festival. Dance and sing the night away.
We would then like to invite all to enjoy a Rough Rider baseball game on Sunday, May 26, at 6 p.m. where the Robson Ranch Choir has been invited to sing the national anthem to open the game! We have an entire section for friends and family, with a special ticket price of $15. The Rough Riders will donate $5 to our club for every ticket purchased! We would love for everyone in Robson to come support us and have a great evening at this awesome ballpark. Tickets are on sale now via our website, rrmusicclub.com, along with information on all club events. Take Me Out to the Ball Game!
