How well do you remember the Constitution? Can you name the freedoms we are guaranteed? Do you know what responsibilities are assigned to the government? If not, here’s your chance for a free refresher! This September, Conservative Women of Action are sponsoring their first educational program. The course, entitled “The Constitution Is the Solution,” will be offered from 12:15 to 4:30 p.m. over three days: Sunday, Sept. 22, through Tuesday, Sept. 24. Handouts will be provided, and discussion will follow each DVD presentation. There is no charge for the class. It is not a clause-by-clause examination of the Constitution; rather, it is designed to explore the ways this founding document was intended to work for the people of our country.

Introducing Conservative Women of Action!
In 2018 Congressman Mike Johnson, now the Speaker of the House, drafted Seven Core Principles of Conservatism. These include Individual Freedom, Limited Government, the Rule of Law, Peace through Strength, Fiscal Responsibility, Free Markets, and Human Dignity. These principles are being put into practice by a new club here at Robson Ranch: Conservative Women of Action. Currently a group of 12, these women believe that while social activities are valuable and enjoyable, education and involvement are essential for the survival of our republic. Several members currently volunteer at Twice as Nice Resale, embracing the principle of Human Dignity. Supporting Limited Government and Rule of Law, others have spent many hours volunteering at the Denton County GOP office. Still others are preparing for the November election by becoming qualified to serve as voter registrars, election workers, and poll watchers. The club intends to provide more opportunities for conservatives to learn, become involved, and take action in order to preserve the rights we enjoy as Americans. Watch for future updates.
